Privacy Policy

Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Wonderline collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use Wonderline, including the Wonderline mobile apps, websites, subscriptions, support workflows, SMS features, and family profile tools.
Because Wonderline is used by families, we try to limit data collection to what we need to operate the product, support households, process subscriptions, manage messaging, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Categories of personal information we collect
We collect identifiers and account data such as name, email address, authentication-provider identifiers, user ID, subscription identifiers, billing-related customer IDs, phone numbers, and support communications.
We collect family-profile information you choose to provide, such as child names, profile details, household configuration, helper relationships, and other content you submit to personalize the service.
We collect content and activity data such as prompts, chat messages, AI interaction history, SMS consent records, helper invite records, message metadata, feature usage, and account settings. This can include child-related or household information that a parent, guardian, or authorized user includes in free-text submissions even if that information was not entered into a dedicated profile field.
We collect internet, device, and technical data such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, app version, crash or diagnostic information, and basic service logs needed to secure, operate, and troubleshoot the product.
Sources of information
We collect information directly from you when you create an account, purchase a subscription, create family profiles, contact support, enable SMS, connect sign-in providers, or otherwise use Wonderline.
That direct collection can include information you type into chats, prompts, support messages, onboarding questions, SMS and helper setup flows, and other open-text inputs. As a result, information about a child or household member may come from what a parent or guardian voluntarily writes in Wonderline, not only from structured profile forms.
We also receive information from third parties that support the service, such as authentication providers, app stores, payment processors, cloud providers, messaging vendors, error-monitoring and diagnostics tools, and other service providers acting on our behalf.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide and maintain Wonderline, personalize family experiences, authenticate users, process billing, manage subscriptions, enable SMS and helper tools, respond to support requests, and communicate service-related updates.
We also use information to improve reliability and product quality, monitor performance, investigate fraud or abuse, moderate safety risks, enforce our terms, comply with legal obligations, and protect Wonderline, our users, and the public.
Children and COPPA-related information
Wonderline parent accounts may provide information relating to children in their household. We expect parents or legal guardians to submit only the information reasonably necessary for the intended family experience.
Child-related information associated with a Wonderline account may be provided directly in profile fields or may be inferred from what a parent or guardian enters into chats, prompts, support communications, onboarding responses, or other interactions with Wonderline.
If Wonderline is subject to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act for a particular use case, the parent or guardian account holder is the person authorized to provide consent, review the child-related information associated with the household account, request deletion, and withdraw consent for further collection where applicable.
If you believe we collected child-related information without proper authorization, contact us immediately at info@wonderlineapp.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
AI and service providers
To operate Wonderline, we may send account, chat, and family-context data to service providers that help us provide authentication, hosting, cloud functions, database storage, subscriptions, payment processing, SMS delivery, customer support, AI response generation, and error monitoring.
Representative providers we currently rely on include Google Firebase and Google Cloud (authentication, hosting, database, and cloud functions), OpenAI (AI response generation and content moderation), Twilio (SMS delivery), RevenueCat together with the Apple App Store and Google Play (mobile subscriptions), Stripe (web billing), and Sentry (error monitoring and diagnostics). These providers act on our behalf and may change over time as the service evolves.
That means prompts, messages, and related family-context information may be processed by third-party providers acting on our behalf so the service can function. We do not intend to use optional analytics or model-improvement settings beyond what is needed to operate the service unless and until we update our practices and provide any required notices or choices.
How we disclose information
We disclose information to vendors and service providers that process information on our behalf for hosting, infrastructure, authentication, database storage, billing, messaging, customer support, and similar operational needs.
We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect rights and safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, to enforce our agreements, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets.
If California privacy law applies to your use of Wonderline, we do not currently intend for Wonderline to sell personal information for money. If our data-sharing practices change in a way that qualifies as selling or sharing under applicable law, we will update this policy and any required user choices.
SMS and phone number disclosures
If you enable SMS tools, we collect phone numbers, consent and opt-out records, message metadata, helper assignments, and related account information needed to provide and secure those features.
You or the phone-number owner can opt out of future texts by replying STOP where applicable. We may send a one-time, non-marketing confirmation of an opt-out request where permitted by law.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain family accounts, support subscriptions, secure the platform, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with tax, payment, accounting, audit, and legal obligations.
Retention periods vary by data type. For example, account records, billing records, logs, consent records, and support communications may be kept for different periods depending on operational and legal requirements.
Your privacy choices and rights
You can update some account information in the app, request deletion through the in-app delete-account flow, or contact us at info@wonderlineapp.com for privacy-related requests.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, and to appeal a denied request where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights, although some services may no longer function if necessary information is deleted.
California privacy disclosures
If the California Consumer Privacy Act or similar state law applies to your use of Wonderline, the sections above describe the categories of personal information we collect, the sources of that information, the business or commercial purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
Authorized agents may make requests on behalf of California residents where permitted by law, subject to verification and proof of authority.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users
Wonderline is operated in the United States and may use service providers that process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data-protection laws.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, website, email, or another reasonable method and update the Last Updated date shown above.
